Podcasting is seriously way out of my comfort zone…
Since the beginning of time, oral storytelling has served a critical role as the sole means of abstracting experiences and emotions in narrative form.
Ancient oral storytellers were revered keepers of local knowledge, history, and traditions in their communities. Fast-forward many millennia…storytelling has dramatically changed which is why podcasts connect in ways that other content cannot do.
Podcasts have a voice. Not the “voice” of a blog post. But a real, live, human voice, with subtleties of inflection, emotion, and emphasis. Podcasts are there while you brush your teeth, while you wash the dishes, drive your car and while you mow the lawn. They work with your schedule. They move and groove with you just like a humble friend.
Hopefully, these podcasts will perform an arch to educate, entertain, inform, inspire, garner laughs and gather tears.
